Sydney metalcore powerhouse Polaris have announced a tour of regional Australia with support from Ocean Grove, Bloom and Inertia. Kicking off in Cairns on June 27, Polaris will electrify stages across Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria, closing out on July 28 in Frankston.
In the latest preview provided by 100 Warm Tunas only Sydney metalcore crew Polaris and Sheffield deathcore turned modern rock giants Bring Me The Horizon are the only heavy acts likely to make this year's Hottest 100.
The latest taste of Polaris' upcoming full-length 'Fatalism' (out September 11 via Resist/SharpTone), 'Overflow' boasts translucent melodics, smouldering guitars, and emphatic vocals. A layered outing that detonates heavier moments alongside more serene terrain, 'Overflow' expands the band's creative palette with alternative rock contours and deeply raw thematics.
Polaris have shared a video for the new single 'Nightmare'. Featuring an equally ominous music video capturing the track's dystopian themes, Nightmare also pays tribute to the recent devastating loss in the Polaris family.
Polaris have announced the biggest headlining Australian tour of their career. The stacked 'Fatalism' tour will see Polaris team up with a trio of American mainstays in the form of August Burns Red, Kublai Khan and Currents.
