Aussie metallers Japam have remained silent for a couple of years now and just as we were losing hope for some new music, they've gone and marked their return with the release of a killer new track called Roak

The band revealed a fun new official video to go with the track, which shows the boys copping meat pies to the face and doing shoeys. This is peak Australian metal. Watch the official video for Roak now.

"[Roak] is the signature 'djent' song on the EP, and a personal favourite for most of the band." says guitarist Seb Hudson. We like what we hear thus far, so keep an ear out for the rest of the Sickboy EP when it drops in April!

Sickboy EP

Roak comes from Japam's forthcoming Sickboy EP which is slated for released on April 12, with pre-orders going live February 22. The EP was mixed and mastered by Taylor Larson (Periphery, From First to Last, Veil of Maya and Asking Alexandria) at Oceanic Recording and combines influences from the heavy, technical groove of modern progressive music to the melodic appeal of 90's pop and rock music. Pre-order the Sickboy EP here.
